Leadership

Erik Bringswhite
Chief Visionary and Founder

Erik Bringswhite was a 2018 Bush Fellow and he was named a Champion of Change by the MacArthur Foundation’s Safety and Justice Challenge.

Erik is a long-time foster parent, juvenile justice worker and a role model to many in his community and beyond. As a former gang member who experienced incarceration, he brings a unique perspective to those who seek healing and those who are at risk because of trauma, addiction, abuse, or hardship.
